ICC School was established in 2011
From the Athletic Director

During my five years at the ICC School, the athletic program has become a thriving, essential component of our school community. The support of our parents, teachers, administrators, and Board of Trustees has inspired our student-athletes.
According to the mission of the ICC School, we as educators are committed “to a rigorous academic program that integrates the arts, athletics, and leadership development.” We live that mission, with more than 90% of Upper School students participating in at least one interscholastic sport per school year. The majority of our students play on two or three teams. Athletics are truly a cornerstone of the ICC School experience.
ICC’s athletic program focuses on the early development of sport-specific skills, allowing students to be successful at both the early school and middle school levels. We foster team dynamics and encourage leadership, self-confidence, and a lifelong appreciation of athletic participation. We also support the centrality of character education in the life of the ICC School. Discipline, cooperation, integrity, leadership, respect, and sportsmanship are all integral parts of our school philosophy. Additional key components in our program are mental focus, positive thinking, teamwork, and game strategy.
